Thanks so much for sharing this, it was good to see and hear what happened for those who couldn’t be there.

Also, your outfit was incredibly well coordinated with the decor of BookPeople. A happy coincidence or careful planning?

Ha! Totally a coincidence, though you’re right, that giant lime-green pillar definitely works with the yellow tights. I actually thought the reading would be in their separate events room upstairs, but I’m glad it ended up being on the second floor — it’s easier for wandering customers to stop for a moment and listen.
