Book launch party video

I’ve just uploaded the video Travis recorded at my book launch party to Vimeo, so you can now watch and listen as I read the prologue to Alcestis and talk a bit about the content of the book. Feel free to share this video, too!

Thanks so much for sharing this, it was good to see and hear what happened for those who couldn’t be there.

Also, your outfit was incredibly well coordinated with the decor of BookPeople. A happy coincidence or careful planning?

  2. Ha! Totally a coincidence, though you’re right, that giant lime-green pillar definitely works with the yellow tights. I actually thought the reading would be in their separate events room upstairs, but I’m glad it ended up being on the second floor — it’s easier for wandering customers to stop for a moment and listen.

About Alcestis

Alcestis

Beutner renders her multilayered heroine with beauty and delicacy, and concerns herself with no less than the intricacies of the soul.
